28.10.2015 פרופ איסי דורון הצטרף לועדה האקדמית של הגוף הבינלאומי של מתכננים פיננסים

בישיבה הבינלאומית של המועצה העולמית של מתכננים פיננסים שהתקיים בטוקיו יפן שהחברים בה מייצגים 26 מדינות חברות אישרו את ההמלצות לעדכן את: 

  1. מבנה הפרופיל המיומנויות של ה"מתכנן הפיננסי" (FPSB Financial Planner Competency Profile). 
  2. מבנה תוכנית הלימודים לקראת תואר CFP בעולם. (Financial Planning Education Framework). 
  3. מבנה סטנדרטים מקצועיים (Financial Planning Practice Standards) 
 
זאת בעקבות עבודה של שנה שלמה של בו היו מעורבים חברי ההנהלה של הארגון וועדת "גוף הידע" שמורכב מאקדמאים בכירים מכל העולם שמקדמים את המקצוע תכנון פיננסי כמקצוע אקדמי. 
 
בועדה האקדמית חברים גם פרופ' ישראל (איסי) דורון, ראש החוג לגרונטולוגייה באוניברסיטת חיפה וד"ר רון ברגר CFP מהמרכז הבינתחומי בהרצליה.
 
תכנון פיננסי הוא תהליך עבודה של בניית אסטרטגיות עבור משפחות לניהול ענייניהם הפיננסים במטרה להגשים יעדי חיים. כל הלומדים תכנון פיננסי השלימו תכנית לימודים של 4 סמסטרים במהלך שנתיים והתמחו בכל הדיסציפלינות של המציאות הכלכלית של משפחות במרחב גדול של פעילות פיננסית לרבות ניהול פיננסי של משפחות, ניהול נכסים, ניהול סיכונים, תכנון מס, תכנון פרישה, תכנון עיזבון והעברת נכסים בין דורית (Estate Planning).
הקורס מביט על המציאות של הלקוח בארץ וגם בעולם (לבעלי נכסים או אזרחויות בחו"ל).

A new study at the University of Haifa found that older people aged 65 and over, living in Sderot and Gaza Strip surroundings have five times higher risk of developing post-traumatic symptoms compared to young people who live in those areas.

"Older people are able to cope with a short-term traumatic event and were even more resistant comparing to young people, but they have trouble dealing with long-term events. Older people may find it difficult to balance their lives during the ongoing stressful event, due to lack of resources and social support", said Dr. Yuval Palgi of Haifa University who conducted the study. The golden age index of global consulting company - PricewaterhouseCoopers, shows that Israel is high in the ranking of OECD countries where people continue to work at an older age.

Trauma Transmission through Perceived Parental Burden among Holocaust Survivors' Offspring and Grandchildren.

Researchers from The University of Haifa - Dr. Sonia Letzter-Pau and Dr. Yuval Palgi cooperating with Dr. Amit Shrira Bar-Ilan University and Dr. Menachem Ben Ezra Ariel University, found that as children of Holocaust survivors felt that their parents are not functioning, the more likely a post traumatic stress disorder will develop in the child. Among the third generation there is an increased risk of developing symptoms of PTSD as well. Read more in Ynet - 15.04.15.

The children of Holocaust survivors are more anxious from the Iranian nuclear threat than their peers whose parents are not Holocaust survivors.

A study published in the Journal of the American Psychological Association, examined the impact of the Iranian nuclear threat on the descendants of Holocaust survivors.
